I hope you like it! :-) I ended up changing the prompt quite a bit because I realized I really liked the story I was writing and I wanted it to stand as my own piece rather than something built from someone else's writing. Hopefully that's okay--and I tried to keep the emotion mostly the same for that section. Also, it's pretty long (5,692 words).
