so my dad rescued this eastern box turtle from being hit by a car on the road in june. from then, the turtle became my pet, my only pet, unless you consider younger siblings pets too. i was generally content w/ her since turtles are low-maintenance and easy to care for. yesterday, since i take the turtle outside daily 2 soak up sunlight, i left her in a huge cardboard box overnight in my balcony. and today at 5 pm i decided to change her water, give her salmon, and take her back in. well, i saw that the box was broken, and the turtle escaped. .-. which meant she fell from the balcony. i tried looking for her, but couldnt go far since there was a flash flood (perfect). so now i dont know what 2 do, other than listen to smooth criminal and frown.
