WASD to move! It's a mini platformer, and there's only 5 levels, but you have to beat them all consecutively; if you mess up it will take you back to the beginning. (read Notes and Credits in full if you have time).
Yay, I made a platformer! This platformer is based off of the song Burn The Ships by for KING & COUNTRY. It's an amazing song about finding the strength to leave any pain or bad memories in the past and to keep going. (Unfortunately, Scratch didn't allow me to load the whole song, so I had to use just a tiny clip of the introduction music.) This entire project, besides the song, is done by me. That means art, coding and all. Because my coding is original and I didn't peek in any other platformers to see how it's done, it's kind of weird (especially the physics of the jumps and stuff [you can beat the first four levels by just pressing one key]). (Also, as for why it's so simple, that's because yours truly is not a good gamer, so if I made it too hard, I would spend hours and hours testing it because I wouldn't be able to beat it.) Anyway, even though it's a little weird, I'm still proud of it and that's why I decided to share it. I don't make games much, and this is my first platformer, so I think I did okay. I do hereby acknowledge and confess the following: - This is a bad platformer by normal Scratch platformer standards. - This is too short. - This is too easy. I can hear you all complaining ;) For my records I think this took me about 10+ hours to make over a couple weeks. SDG
