Sorrow & Dawn Sorrow stalked through the long moor grass. His bushy gray and white fur was slick and well groomed. Ever since he had joined the rouge group called The Night Stalkers he had been eating well and making new friends. The group was really nice and none of the cats seemed hostile towards anyone. They just kept to themselves and tried not to start any wars with the clans that lived in the forest. A rustling in the grass aroused him out of his thoughts. A beautiful yellow and white she-cat padded out of the long grass towards him. Wow...He thought as he stared at the gorgeous stranger. "Hello...What's your name?" He heard the newcomer say with her sweet as honey voice. "H-Hi..I'm Sorrow...What's your name?" He asked in return. He was caught off guard by this strangers sudden kindness towards a cat that she doesn't even know. "That's a nice name...I'm named Dawn." The yellow she-cat purred to him. Sorrow smiled and dipped his head in greetings. A Few Moons Later: Sorrow padded into the den he shared with Dawn with two mice in his jaws. He new she would be hungry so he wanted to surprise her with some prey. What he saw took his breath away. Dawn was laying in their nest with a little kit sleeping at her belly. The kit was a white she-kit with black paws. Sorrow smiled as he looked at his daughter and his mate. I love them more than anything. He thought as he put the mice down and headed out of the den. The Next Day: Sorrow padded into camp. He had been out all night on a battle patrol. The clans had decided they wanted to attack and The Night Stalkers weren't going to back down without a fight. He had lead the patrol all the way to the border where they had a skirmish over the land. Much Night Stalker and Clan bl22d was needlessly spilled and they had finally come to a truce. Sorrow's fur was covered in wounds and bl22d was trickling down his chest. He padded into the den that he shared with Dawn to see his mate lying on the ground with a pool of bl22d around her and Dew was wailing for her lost mother. No....Not Dawn...Sorrow thought as he crumbled to the ground, sobbing.
