Hey guys, I'm leaving Scratch. I wasn't planning on making a project about this, but with all the craziness going on, I didn't want people thinking I got banned. So here's why I'm leaving: The short version is when school starts up again I don’t want to be distracted with Scratch. If you want a move complicated version, read below Scratch is no longer a fun and safe place like it used to be. If you try to share your opinion, you get attacked. If you post art, it could get stolen. And I certainly should not be logging on to find that two of my friends are being harassed by another scratcher. I get anxious when I am on this website, and I honestly shouldn't. This is a place to connect with others, share ideas, and be creative. But lately it's become stressful, and where did all these rude and toxic people come from? I don't need to be worrying about my art getting stolen and friends being attacked on top of school. I also notice that I haven't been drawing for myself. Mostly, I've been doing MAP parts, art trades, and requests. Drawing had become more like a chore to me, and that isn't good. Also schools about to start, and I know this years gonna be pretty rough cuz it's going to be mostly virtual. So I'm hoping by leaving, I will be able to improve on my art and focus more on me. I've been on Scratch for a long time, and I have so many fond memories to look back on. But now it's time for me to move forward. So here's to the good times, the bad times, and the friends I've made along the way. I wish you all the best of luck moving forward. Just remember me as that one fedora-wearing artist who drew Minecraft slimes named Gary
// Questions you may have // What program do you use? ⧐I use Sketchable for Windows 10, a very expensive program that doesn't do even half what procreate does lol. I am very salty about that What about your MAP's? ⧐I found people to rehost them What will happen to the Sketchwing studio? ⧐ We have many wonderful managers taking applications and keeping it alive Will you ever come back? ⧐ No
