Welcome to Windows© Mobile: Codename: Stratosphere. Version: 1.01 Build: 1221 This is a new operating system I have worked on and is meant to be the mobile-friendly counterpart to Windows Orion. (Link to project in notes and credits). This is optimized for non-keyboard devices such as phones and tablets, but you can still enjoy it on your computer, too! Fun fact: This project was created entirely on an Android tablet. (Made for tablets, by tablets). Anyway, I also made this because of how forgotten Windows Mobile is. It was very exciting and popular in the 2000's, and had a lot of the mobile market share. You would see Windows Mobile on PDAs, mobile phones, and even mini laptops. It actually used to be good, but with iPhone and Android released, things started to fall apart for Microsoft's platform and it eventually failed and died last year. So anyway, to end the history lesson, here is information about the OS: -Has two clocks to tell you the hour and minute for the lock screen and home screen. -Has a start menu and taskbar at the top of the home screen. -Has a video sensing app -Has a control panel to change the wallpaper and taskbar icons. -Has an internet explorer browser, you can type in these links to pictures of websites: microsoft.com apple.com google.com funfact.com -Has a media player to play music and gif Another important note: There are minor and major updates. Minor updates are small bug fixes, which are called versions, and major updates introduce new features and design changes, also known as builds. Minor updates are added more often then major updates. Also, another important thing is that though this is designed for phones and tablets it will need flash player to work just like all scratch projects. Update logs: Build 1221 Version 1.01 -First version and build. Version 1.02 -New song added in media player.
Credit to Microsoft, Apple, Google, and get things for the website designs. Also credit to this amazing website, called the wayback machine, which I used to get website designs from a while ago. Check out my desktop os, Windows Orion: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/346895097/ I designed all the icons myself.
