Well, I've been working on a lot of art lately due to the fact that i am quarantined in my room, and so heres some of it! Includes -the 6 wives of Henry VIII Queen Henrietta Maria My historical figure art ideas(so sorry if i didn't do yours, I did a few and gave up on it, it wasn't supposed to be a request thing, more so like ideas and inspiration) The best drawing I've ever done of Ippolit Kuragin A portrait of Lady Jane Grey Some sketches
1: all of the wives of Henry VIII together! 2: Catalina de Aragon. The loyal and enduring wife of Henry the eighth and mother of Mary Tudor, also known as Bloody Mary. The first wife, who was divorced because she was unable to bear him a male heir. I feel really bad for her, but i don't think she had the worst life out of all of them 3: Anne of Boleyn: the intelligent and most important, historically speaking, wife of Henry, and the mother of Elizabeth I. Henry's obsession over marrying her caused Anglicanism, a form of Protestantism to be formed. When she didn't give him a male heir, another obsession of his, he found all the evidence and rumors he could to behead her. And then he did(when she was beheaded, she was not the most happi alsot that was her family motto) 4: Jane Seymour, a quiet and also pretty important wife, because she gave him a son(Edward VI). But then she died a few days after due to an illness 5: Anna von Kleves. naive and not well liked by Henry, Anna was a German princess(right?) Who was wed to Henry for an alliance. He absolutely despised her and annulled the marriage. She didn't argue with him after being divorced like Catalina, so in return he gave her two palaces in Richmond. 6: Kathryn Howard, a young and pretty innocent wife. I will not go into detail about her life because it isn't too scratch appropriate, but she was beheaded because Henry found out she was promiscuous. 7: the final wife, Katharine Parr. An intelligent and closeted catholic and author, Katharine stayed with him till the end of his life. She died a year after he did Thank you for coming to my ted talk. 8. Henrietta Maria of France 9, 10, 11 12: Marie Antoinette, Adrienne de Noailles Marquise de Lafayette, James Douglas, Audrey Hepburn 13: the best drawing of Ippolit Kuragin(from War and Peace) I have ever created 14: Lady Jane Grey 15: A sketch of a queen in a fictional and complex medieval world i am creating in my head 16. Happy Birthday Elizabeth Hamilton! 17. Justinian the I 18. 1660s and 1690s fashion That's all:)
