UPDATE: EDIT 4/3/22 - THANK Y0U F0R THE AM0UNT 0F VIEWS!! this means a l0t, h0wever i st0pped using scratch and i am deleting/privating m0st 0f my 0lder pr0jects, im currently 0ver 14 n0w, and i just wanted t0 say thank u <3 im 0kay, and im safe and healthy, but just n0t active! i rem0ved s0me 0f my s0cials f0r pers0nal pr0tecti0n reas0ns. !! d0nt mind my newer typing quirk but yaa!! So it has officially been my time with Scratch. Here are my complaints with Scratch before i officially take my leave. Scratch has gone to garbage due to the younger audience not understanding how tracing and recoloring is not okay. And Scratch sadly allows it. They dont give credit to original coders and artists anymore, and its a mess. Not only is Scratch made for younger people and im now over that limit, i mean a older more mature version of Scratch wouldn't hurt anyone. It has became super restrictive and it makes it less enjoyable for us teens. Not to mention no common courtesy around here anymore, and its gone to absolute cringe. We have amazing artists leaving because people remix and dont change anything, or do in a recolor and they give up. Its a form of ART THEFT. And i literally got so much better at art just for scratch to begin lagging out and its terrible. And not to mention scratch is DYING. Actual good coders and artists leave for those reasons and its just a mess. And a bad word detector? Oh come on man.
