READ ALL OF THIS, IMPORTANT TIPS AND GLITCHES ARE DISCLOSED!! GLITCHES... -ONLY yes AND Yes ARE ACCEPTED UNLESS YOU ARE TOLD OTHERWISE!! THE GAME WILL COUNT EVERYTHING ELSE AS NO!!! -After you defeat the first boss, don't leave until he does. Otherwise he gets mad and ambushes you when you come back and you have to redo it. This was not intentional, but I like it. WALKTHROUGH-ISH... Click the green flag. Click the egg and wait. You start in the Forest of Introduction. When Walnut asks you your gender, only reply male, female, gender-fluid, non-binary, Male, Female, Gender-fluid, or Non-binary (please tell me if I've missed something). You won't have a gender otherwise, not that it matters in this game (dragons addressing you with proper pronouns is a future update). Your name can be anything, though! On your first day, after Walnut leaves, when you see the circular tunnel going off from the forest in front of your den, click it. Make sure it's the one that doesn't go to your den. TIPS... -When you are going to the Healer's Den, and you get to the Jungle in Front of the Healer's Den, the thing on the left takes you to the Healer's Den and the thing on the right takes you back. When you get to the Healer's Den, click it again to go back. -I key opens character info. Heals are also on this page. -Go to the Town Square to get some insight into how programming works. Listen to the very pale greeny-yellow dragon. -REMEMBER YOU HAVE A MAP! This is getting huge and I lost motivation for a while (and also forgot about it), so I'm going to split this up into at least one other game, 'cause I have a LOT planned and I don't want it to be TOO slow, and also because I feel like most people aren't going to be on this for, like, five hours straight. I'll separate right now, but I won't release the sequel until I have a working save code, which... may be a while. Hah, now I have a save code, but no second game! It's going to be very different, and at your own pace. I need a more professional copyright. Let me ask no, he's good at faking that. Looking at the comments, it's like that's where my change log is. ~^\/^~ Comment "Dragon-y WoF fan!" if you saw this! Ummm… so... hi. Do you think that there are other hidden messages? Probably not, right?
Tui T. Sutherland came up with Wings of Fire, and I came up with all the hybridized tribes, though all the dragons' tribes are hybrids of the original WoF tribes. Thanks to @a_pink_user (also known as no) for creating a number of the backgrounds and sprites. @yo-yo666 helped as well. The nest design is an altered version of the one she made. I used Sibelius : First to make most of the music. In the Hall of the Mountain King is by Edvard Greig. Otherwise the music is all original compositions. The save code is pretty much entirely @Wildflight's, but until I release the next game, you can't do much with it. Change log, starting from the moment I separated the game(s): Version 1.0: Base game. 1.1: Streamlining, slightly better out-of-combat heal mechanic. Other small adjustments to make things run more smoothly. 1.2: Actual ending, easier-to-find code, small adjustments. One or two aesthetic improvements & glitch fixes. 1.3: Character info page! No more dialogue block-out! Woo-hoo! 1.4: Tinted background for different times of day! Faster movement! A few minor changes, too. You no longer have to talk to Chard! IMMENSE GRAPHICS IMPROVEMENT!!! 1.5: Small graphics improvement, Chard is in a less awkward place, clearly no one has played this all the way through because there was no way to get to FlameWing territory. Fixed that. Did some internal reorganizing. 1.6: Finally fixed up the out-of-combat heal system. Sooo much better now. Also, combat graphics improvement. 1.7: Not much in this one, slightly better color change & graphics improvement. I might have the entire player change color eventually, or the wings as well, or an option to return to your natural coloring. I'll figure it out. 1.8: Very small graphics improvement, slightly better FlameWing attack scene from Boot Camp storyline. Fixed a glitch that wouldn't actually affect anything but made it less well organized. 1.9: Background graphics improvement, might be hard to notice but I feel like it's soooo much better. Only color and one or two movements/redraws, but I like it more. 1.95: Moderate graphics improvement, I'm not counting this as a full update. 2.0 should be a big one! 2.0: Changes to map. If very many people had made a habit of playing this, I'd be more nervous about this. Also, new thumbnail, inventory, and some internal organizational stuff. Not as big as I wanted, but I'll get to the rest. 2.1: Fixed bugs with the color change. Now it actually works. To Do (not in any order, accepting suggestions): -Add dragons talking on their own -Make jewelry better -Add more color change options (skins?) -Relationships? Other dragons doing ANYTHING? -The next game! -Hunger and thirst
