Make sure to turn your sound on! This is interactive, so you can click the animals and the text! I wanted to create a project for the "Endangered Animals" SDS. Since I made the thumbnail for it, and that thumbnail is an svg (a vector file), I thought it would be cool to make it interactive! So that's what I did. ► Animals featured: • Blue-throated macaw: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue-throated_macaw • Giant panda: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giant_Panda • Polar bear: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polar_bear • Blue whale: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_whale • Asian elephant: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asian_elephant ► How you can help endangered animals: • Donate to organizations actively helping these animals and other endangered animals. • Work to slow down climate change by reducing your greenhouse gas emissions. ► Notes: • I learned from @salvation- that giant pandas no longer hold the "Endangered" status. However, we still need to make sure they don't become endangered again! • According to Polar Bears International, the polar bear is "vulnerable" (i.e. not "endangered"). This still means we need to help them, though! For more information, see: https://polarbearsinternational.org/climate-change/status-endangered-polar-bears/ • If there are any glitches, please let me know so I can fix them! • Made for the "Endangered Animals" Scratch Design Studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/27176493/ ► Credits: • All the art was made by me (using either Google Drawings or Scratch) except for the heart, which was taken from the Scratch sprite library and then modified slightly by me. • All the sound effects are from the Scratch sound library, except for the wind sound (when you click the polar bear), which is from SoundBible.com: https://soundbible.com/1810-Wind.html • The fonts are "Fredoka One" for the "Endangered Animals" and "SDS" text, and "Patrick Hand" for the "It's interactive!" text.
