ayy I redrew some disgusting old bits of art from a story idea I had with @Mystic-Cat from like two years ago- if you want to see the ugly originals, you can go inside and curse your eyes with them ;v; but click or tap space to actually go through the new ones aaa 1) just,,, just a thing. Move on, folks. 2) Ruby. His head looks way too big for his body. Idk what happened there, but I apologize. I kept his design mostly the same, but I fixed most of his proportions and also got rid of his weird overbite thing. 3) Topaz!! I actually like how she came out. This is honestly the only one I'm genuinely proud of :') I gave her some spots and changed the shape of her chest marking, as well as lightened her colors up a little. And she was changed from yellow to orange. 4) Heliodor. His name was originally Garnet, but then it was changed along with his color, since he was the initial orange. Again, there isn't much to say - I edited his markings a bit, I guess. And I made him look more bristly. 5) Emerald. Not much commentary here, either. I added some more lighter colors and a stripe down her back. Her eyes make her look sort of like a psychopath, though. I don't know what I did. I am sorry. 6) Sapphire. Her design seemed sort of dull before, so I gave her a few faint stripey things. I don't really like this one that much, but eh. 7) Amethyst. Oh god, I ruined him. I am so sorry. This is probably the only one where I think the original looked better. I do like his new design, though, even if it is more complex. Help 8) Uh... yeah, I don't know. Just for reference, I guess? 9) Some potential designs for our villains. Yay? These were extremely quick doodles because I was too lazy to spend time making an actual art piece hhh 10) Unnamed old man caaaaat!! The eye scar is literally only there because I was too lazy to draw a second eye. But I think it works? Maybe? e.
