Let it run on TURBO MODE, I know it takes a while XD (It looks awesome when you put the light inside the cat) You can adjust the step size and move the light, but move it while the project is off and then run the project again if you want to move it I rendered the thumbnail at a step size of 0.6 and full dithering. I then used GIMP's simple built-in denoiser to get rid of the little noise left on the edges of the cat. No dithering produces banding artifacts and is bias but has no noise and is smooth, dithering gets rid of banding artifacts and is unbiased but introduces noise. This project uses white noise to dither, but if I were to use blue noise and an analytic triangle filter for anti-aliasing, there would be no noise + no artifacts + no banding + no bias! Although I still don't completely understand how blue noise is generated nor how analytic triangle filter anti-aliasing works. I was originally going to use just a gamma 2.2 colorspace, but there were a bunch of overexposed parts, so I added my improved filmic transform to soften those a bit.
