This poem means a lot to me as it tells the story of something I've gone through, so I hope y'all like it <333 Waiting By Veronica Watching you I somehow missed You staring right back, Somehow missed That you had caught feelings too. I would lie in bed And pray for you. All the while crying silent tears, Because I thought You couldn't care less. Slowly my feelings for you Withered And died. I started to notice another And he noticed me too. We started to talk And then he broke my heart. I no longer had anyone. Except you. Things weren't the same though. I didn't know If I'd ever love again. But slowly, Slowly, You consumed my mind once more. Silently, Secretly, I gave you my heart, In the quiet of my own thoughts. You took it And broke it. Leaving me all alone once more. But I'm still watching, Waiting, Hoping, That one day maybe You'll come back And when, If, That time comes. I'll be here waiting With open arms Ready to give you my heart once more. This time though Please keep it As it's yours to keep. Dont throw it away Leaving me stranded, And alone.
