press the green flag. I haveth discovered my passion for sea turtles and ocean life. ;-;
please go here to Nurdle patrol website. copy and paste. https://nurdlepatrol.org/Forms/Home/ studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/27398812/ Nurdles are little plastic pellets that are melted down to make EVERYTHING out of plastic. from your phone cover to car parts to plastic bottles, nurdles are what makes 'em all. sometimes, though, while big ships taking shipments of Nurdles spill and dump millions of these tiny pellets in the water. they can be in the rivers and beaches you swim in. these things are VERY harmful to ocean wildlife (specifically turtles) because animals eat them thinking that they're food. if the turtle only eats a small amount, he will probably be ok. However, if the turtle ingests a large amount, the Nurdles may clog the digestive system and starve the turtle to death. horrifying, isn't it? they starve because the Nurdles have no nutritious value. they are plastic. Nurdles are very hard to collect because they are very small and lightweight. however, whenever you go to the beach or the river, if you see ONE nurdle, there is likely to be more. please take TEN MINUTES and pick up these pellets. these Nurdles also absorb toxic chemicals which may leak out into the fish if the fish eats it. then we eat the fish! I wouldn't want to eat that, would you? nurdles usually wash up after high-tide or rainstorms. please to the ocean a favor and collect these. if you don't know what to do after you collect them, keep them in a jar 'cause they look cool. or if you are an artist, you ca make a really cool masterpiece with 'em!
