"Snowpaw! Silverpaw! Snowpaw! Silverpaw!" Snowpaw raised her chin proudly. She remembered this feeling from so long ago. She looked at Willowpelt, her new mentor. Silverpaw got Tigerclaw. "Congratulations." Jaypaw told Snowpaw." He was apprenticed a moon ago. "Thanks!" She said. "What are we doing first?" She asked Willowpelt. "Well, we could explore the territory, or get moss for elders." She grinned, expecting the territory option. "We could go get moss first!" Said Snowpaw. Willowpelt was surprised. She never knew an apprentice that wanted to get moss instead of exploring. "A-alright." She said, a little shocked. Snowpaw ran out of camp and almost went to the best moss place she remembered until she stopped herself. Wouldn't Willowpelt find it suspicious that an apprentice going out for the first time knew the best place for moss? She stopped and waited for Willowpelt. When she came, she was with Tigerclaw and Silverpaw. "Hey, Snowpaw! What are you going to do right now?" Asked Silverpaw. "I'll be getting moss!" She replied. Silverpaw smirked. "Well, me and Tigerclaw are going to see Thunderclan territory. Have funwith your moss!" She bounded off after her mentor. Snowpaw felt unease. Her sister was becoming rude, but why? She and Jaypaw spent all their time as kits watching her and making sure she didn't pick up on anything bad. So why was she like this? She pushed the question out of her head and thought about moss. She followed Willowpelt and found a ton of moss that day. She especially got a lot so that Whitestorm had a lot. She even found some feathers. The elders were happy and she got herself some prey. After she ate, it was dark. She stumbled into the apprentices den and saw Jaypaw, already in his nest. She laid down next to him and his head went up. "How was it?" "Exhausting. We got SO much moss." Jaypaw smiled. "Sleep well." "You too." She replied just as she prepared for another night filled with Silverkit.
