The fifth beta edition of my major Zelda game! This one adds powerful new items to try out, as well as balancing spawn rates. Also, please play in fullscreen. It's prettier if you do. Don't worry about reading the instructions. Link pretty much tells himself how to play, just remember that he aims at where your mouse pointer points. But if you want to know the changes between this version and the last, then continue reading. MAJOR features and changes: 1. Bombs! Equip them in your inventory, or just press "3". Click to set them down, and watch them blow your enemies to bits! 2. A boomerang! Press "4" to quick equip, and click to throw it forward! It'll bring loot from defeated monsters and trees right back to you. 3. Titan Mitts! Press "5" to quick equip, and click to pick up monsters and objects. Click again to throw them at other enemies! Heavier enemies deal more damage. 4. The "Show Damage" feature has been implemented! Turn it on, and you can view the numerical amount of damage you deal to enemies. How much damage can you deal in one hit? 5. Five new achievements to collect: Adrenaline, Thunderstruck, Shield Master, Perfect Shot, and 401K. Minor features and changes: 1. Made some little tweaks to entity spawning and despawning. In general, everything is rarer. 2. Shields now recover durability much slower, and when a shield recovers from breaking, it recovers durability quickly but can be interrupted. In other words, your shield has been nerfed. 3. Slightly decreased the cooldown on the Master Sword. 4. Completely re-worked knockback. Instead of knocking the player back in the direction they last moved, enemies and trees calculate knockback depending on their relative location to the player. It's a lot more reliable, fixes the oldest known bug in this game's history, and stops players from getting stuck inside Chuchus. 5. Trees now spawn in Gerudo Desert (it's super rare, though), and take a different look when they spawn in drier areas.
THERE'S A NEW BETA VERSION OUT!!! It's more updated than this one, so check out https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/26988860/ to play it! Fixed bugs: Bug 1: Trees can be used as a method of transport when you take damage. Bug 13: Projectiles could deal damage to entities while the game was paused. Bug 14: Your shield could recover durability while the game was paused. Bug 15: Some projectiles didn't deal the right amount of damage, due to a problematic detection script. Bug 16: The title screen was brighter than usual if you quit the game through the "save & quit" button. Bug 17: If you died and used "save & quit" to make a save code, you would keep all of your rupees even when playing on Normal or Hero mode. Bug 18: The game couldn't properly read some save codes for some permutations of bought shields. Present bugs: Bug 12: Traveling to Death Mountain Summit while fire is about to where off makes the fire disappear on Link, even though he's still on fire. Tags: Fun fact: This game runs surprisingly well on Turbo Mode.
