ATTENTION: as usual the story is here in the description NOT IN THE PROJECT. ;) Okay Imma start off by saying I wrote this when I was TWELVE years old people, okay. that's why its so cringy and horrible and awful punctuation and just all around terrible everything. So I thought I'd share this so you could see how far my writing career has come over the years lol. Alrighty drumroll please.... here is chapter one of the first ever complete book I wrote, titled, An Orca's Cry. One time a few years ago, there was a pod of orcas swimming around in the Atlantic Ocean. And in that pod there was a mother orca who had just had just had a baby orca. The mother’s name was Olivia, and the baby’s name was Oreo. The other baby orcas loved to play with each other and play games like tag and follow the leader. one day Oreo was playing with her mom and friend laughing and having lots of fun. They were swimming around playing follow the leader when, a huge gray speed boat drove up ‘What’s that?,” they all asked. Then a scuba diver plunged into the water and started to chase the babies away from their mothers! Then Oreo got stuck in one of the human’s nets! She was stuck. “What do I do mom?” she asked. “Don’t worry, I’ll come and save you soon.” she said. “Just you wait, they’ll pay for this.” Then the boat left. All the other orcas sped away and the lonely mother was left alone. Olivia bawled for DAYS because of the loss of her baby. Later she caught up with her pod and her best friend Nelly the narwhale showed up. When Olivia told her the whole story they both agreed that Olivia should go and rescue her baby. Well……. at least try. Now, you’re probably dying to know what happened to Oreo so I’ll tell you. After Oreo got stuck in the net she didn’t know where she was. She had never been away from the reef before. She missed her mother, and friends. She finally saw her captors when she got dumped into a huge tank. They were NOT nice looking people. She heard one of them say “Hey Mr. Migilicudy! There’s an octopus in the orca tank.” “Then that guy up there with the scruffy beard and torn up clothes must be Mr. Migilicudy.” She thought. “What? Get it out NOW! Larry Lemondrop, before I lose my temper.” said Mr. Migilicudy. “Oh so that guy over there with the bald head and handlebar mustache must be Larry Lemondrop.” thought Oreo. Just then a lady with silky golden brown hair, ocean blue eyes and a very light tan came out of a door. Oreo thought she was beautiful and anybody this pretty had to be nice, but her hopes were wrong. When the lady walked over to the tank she slapped Oreo and said “You’ll make a nice bit of money for us with that beautiful skin of yours.” “What!” said Oreo “They only want me so they can turn me into a skin to sell?” I wish mom was here. Then she heard a voice from behind her, “You’d best get out of here as soon as you can, because as soon as you’re big enough they’ll tan your hide and sell it.” “Who said that?” Oreo asked. “Me.” said the voice from behind her. Then she saw it, another orca. It had wrinkly skin and you could barely see its eyes. You could tell from the quiver in its voice that it had been here for a long time and was very weak. “Can the humans up there understand us? They never respond to me when I talk to them.” Oreo said. “No, they can only hear squeaks and clicks.” said the other orca. “What’s your name?” asked Oreo. “Who me?” “Oh it’s Margret.” said the other orca. “This is what those humans up there call Sea sights, but really they catch animals make what money they can from ‘em and sell their skins.” said Margret. “Wow that’s cruel.” said Oreo. “Yeah I know” said Margret. “That guy up there Larry Lemondrop, he’s a guy who doesn’t like Migilicudy but he’s afraid of him. If it weren’t for him he’d be a really nice guy, he likes us.” said Margret. “That lady is a mean one she’ll slap ya just for the fun of it and if you go into her house you’ll see she has millions of animal skins everywhere.” “And oh I almost forgot they have a pet watch shark.” said Margret. “A pet shark!” said Oreo. “That’s crazy!” she said. Meanwhile up on the land the three bad guys were talking as well. “I think we should go out and get some new animals to poach.” said Valarie Vegadson (the pretty lady). “No!” said Migilicudy “Lets fatten up our new one.” “Umm don’t you think you shouldn’t poach animals sir?” said Larry. “QUIET!” said Migilicudy. “Umm yes sir” said Larry. “I’m sorry sir.” said Larry. “You should be! And let that be a lesson to you!” said Migilicudy. “Now back to business.” said Migilicudy. “Wow they’re mean!” said Oreo. “I won’t get in their way.” “You bet you won’t they’ll tan you alive!” “LITERALLY!”.
Thanks for the support guys! I thought this would be interesting to share lol. I actually had this book printed by snapfish and have it in hardcover lol. I was rather proud of it at the time XD comment, love and favorite if you would like to see some more of my random writings that I have started!! Asia's Story is the second book I have ever gotten past 2 chapters on. I usually start something, get a chapter done and then get writers block. I had 2 chapters of Asia's Story written in February 2020 and gave it up cause i was too busy to finish it and I got writers block. But I picked my pencil back up and started writing it again and I'm so glad you guys like it!!
