Aiyana Stanley Jones. Aiyana was a happy little girl. She had hobbies, a family, friends. She didn't do anything wrong. And yet, at 7 years old, Aiyana was k*lled. It was sudden, unexpected. It was unforgivable. A victim of police brutality. One of many. On May 16th, 2010, Aiyana's life reached an abrupt end. A sudden g*nshot to the head ended her life. Why Aiyana? Why not any other child, any other innocent being done nothing wrong? The answer is as simple as it is unfair. The colour of Aiyana's skin was black. This cost her her life. Aiyana's death caused an uproar in the media, but clearly it didn't do enough. For countless others went after her. Aiyana was destined for great places, but unfortunately, she didn't reach them.
