Welcome to my 3D Globe project! You might recognize this from https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/420500436/ and that is because it is the same project! I originally made this to help @Raihan142857 with getting image data for the one-line challenge and then I started helping with improving the projection method by creating this! Unfortunately, I learned that the map that @Raihan142857 gave me to process the data for which is used in this is what is known as a "Mercator" map and the projection method used in this is for "equirectangular" maps and I do not know what a "Mercator" map actually is, so I do not know how to fix this. Anyways, that is why some parts are disproportionate. However, this is 100% my code! I hope you enjoy! And, please use turbo mode or TurboWarp (https://turbowarp.org/#421375457). Also, judges, I said I would do some 3D closer to the end! :D The next project likely won't be 3D, but it will still be an extremely advanced 2D project! Update: Yesterday, I changed the map to an equirectangular map, so it should work fine now!
