Welcome to Locating Lighthouse, the first official game I've released in... *checks* 2 years and 5 months... yeah... don't worry, expect more games in the future! :D I've decided to take a short break from music projects and try coding a complete game for once. To make things even more challenging, I downloaded the offline scratch editor and turned off my Wi-Fi so I couldn't go online to get help or use references (I obviously turned it back on once I finished, or else this would not have gotten shared). An extra challenge I gave myself was to finish this in a day, which was really challenging to do, but I'm done! :D The inspiration behind this project was listening to some Owl City songs, I got the idea to do a lighthouse game from the song "Beautiful Times" (by Owl City, duh), so yeah, I could've made a super boring platformer but I wanted to be original :D The coding was super easy, the art though... uGHHH There's probably a lot of bugs here, please don't judge, I completed this game in one day, yada yada... Little fun fact, this game was created and released on my mom's birthday ;D Happy birthday to my mom ;) Okay enough of me rambling, the controls are in game, but I'll tell you here anyways: The goal of the game is to shine your light at the boats to prevent them from crashing. If two boats are touching each other and you're light is shining on them, the boats will safely cross. If the boats aren't being shined by light though, one of the boat crashes. The game ends when too many boats have crashed.
