Hey, folks. Stormy here. I've been sorting through things- and by that I mean, everything- and have decided to finally give you all some updates. Firstly, The ARK. Around two-hundred people played Episode One, and it's been over a year now with no updates. Sorry about that, but I came across a few issues while trying to write up the Episode Two script. The biggest problem? It's... boring. The ARK as it is right now is just way too, I don't know, stretched out? I'm an amateur author, I've been writing novels for ten years now, and looking back I realize that I really wrote The ARK like a book, and it did NOT work. It's super over-the-top deep and booky. Not to mention it's a pain to write the script and then type up or copy-paste that insane amount of text into a project, and then I have the issue of the sprite it is in hitting the size limitation, so... Yeah, it just wasn't working. So we're changing it. We're not restarting, probably, but from now on we're redoing The ARK. I think I'm going to make it into a 2D picture animation series. I'm going to release some art and animation auditions and hopefully we'll get a crew together in no time and I can start story-boarding. And secondly, the one you've all been waiting for, Invasion III. Around five-hundred people checked out the announcement trailer, which is awesome, but in ten days that will have been a year ago, and recently I've been getting some renewed attention in it. Simply put, @Peachpetal is basically inactive on Scratch and has expressed complete disinterest in continuing the art for the series- though she might complete her static character designs for a future project- so I finally decided it's time for a Plan B. For everyone who wanted to be a part of the series, it might be your lucky day. @Billy_Boots or @LilySky are going to throw together some sketches to show the features of the characters and the outfits, and then I'm going to open some art auditions (not real animation, just still images that move around and a little "lip-sync"). Hopefully, it won't be long before these things are out. I'll see you all then. Peace out!
