Sea turtles have graced our ocean water since more than 100 million years ago, maintaining the health of our ecosystems. Today there are 7 species of sea turtle and almost all of them are critically endangered, and they are endangered because of us. Sea turtles can mistake plastic bags for food and get choked while trying to eat it. And the beaches in which they lay their eggs are getting destroyed by humans. Without human intervention, only 10 out of 1,000 eggs survive to adulthood. But us humans have tipped the scales against their survival, today only 2 out of 1,000 eggs survive. At this rate, it won't be too long until they get extinct. By recycling and telling other of what thy could do to make sure that they are not putting turtles into danger, we still have a chance... Save the turtles!
