space- some art I threw together, their ref, and concept art for their backstory :::: Name: Fiorello, Fii, Fiora (means 'little flower') Gender: demigirl (more like genderfluid, but they identify with she/her more because they think it suits them) Species: Florid (basically cats/creatures that are feline with different kinds of sprouts growing on them. Fii is a Ell Florid which means their plants are flower-based. Florids are rare and their genetics/origin is unknown.) Power(s): Enhances plant growth and can sometimes grow flowers, though it is fairly rare Fact(s): Fii has traumatic mutism and seizures, also an allergy to ashes- they have a theory that pollen enhances their ability Personality: Fiorelle is a curious Florid who could seem anti-social but really is just taking the time to inspect you. They are inquisitive and optimistic and would be a good friend if you both got past the mutism- they've lived alone for their entire life so they don't know how to approach other cats. (You get the gist, I hope- I want to write the backstory) ::::: Backstory: Fii doesn't know where they came from. They woke up in a dead meadow with a couple scrapes and no-one in sight. The odd thing was, the meadow was dead except for the patch Fiorelle lay on. The flourishing patch. After testing their ability and regrowing the meadow, Fii came across a little lizard with nubs on his back. (Oh, his name is Amoranth btw) Being desperately lonely and terribly alone, they took him in. Later, they heard a scratching noise and found the baby lizard -dragon- on the floor, on his back, with the tiny nubs replaced with tiny wings. After that time passed, nothing really happened.. until the memories started coming back. Fii would wake up at night sweating and making soundless yowls of despair- and their only key was the fire. Always the fire. Almost every night since then, the agonizing, tantalizing flames would rule her dreams. Florids with no faces who changed every time would die screaming, crumbling into ash. Fii would sit there, eyes wide in fright, until the flames consumed them, too. '' Time passed and Fiora grew yearning to find more Florids, more of her kind. Her patch of the forest was positively vibrant; hues of every color patterned her little valley. But, it was boring. She had grown everything she knew, trained herself, trained Amoranth, what was left? What was left, except to find the answer to the question she really wanted to know? ::: tbc cause im bored and wanna draw again lolol
