If there is anything I should change, please tell me! :D WARNING: If you are not ok with reading something about blood, or get scared easily from those topics, DO NOT READ! I was not that goreish in this, but in future chapters I may be, or else the whole effect won't be there, making it a worse story. Tell me if something is too bad, and I'll try my best to fix it if necessary. Read down below I I V
Prologue: It was the middle of the night, and not a creature could be heard in the vast forest. An eerie cloud of mist floated above the grass, ever so slightly touching it. A loud call from a bird could be heard in the distance, along with a abrupt crack of a fallen branch. Suddenly, this tranquil night seemed to drastically transform into a wild battle. Ear-splitting screeches could be heard from all angles as cats leapt at full speed towards each other, their claws outstretched. Blood spewed all over the ground, draining out everything that was in sight before. Everywhere you looked, there was some kind of bloodshed or fighting, which seemed to be never ending. Out of nowhere, a huge, shining ball of light appeared from up above, their shimmering pelt reflecting off the thick, mucky blood. They gracefully floated down to the battlefield, their paws seeming to erase all of the memory of the fight with each step. Although, none of the battling cats seemed to notice her, and continued with their fight. "I am the light that will reunite thee, Across the land and through the trees. I am the star that will outshine the dark, And free the clans of this endless rot. Although, if you overwhelm me, The clans will perish, oh you'll see. But if the clans chose right and protect me, We'll live once more in harmony." The starry cat mysteriously chanted this phrase, and slowly shriveled away near the end. All that was left of her beautiful, sparkling fur was a few little specks of stardust, with almost the whole forest still left in shreds. The battling cats seemed to have left while the prophecy was being chanted, leaving the area to look like a ruined wasteland. However, one cat was still there, hovering over someone's body. They were grinning menacingly as they sliced through its throat, ruthlessly biting at its neck again to make sure they were dead. The cat slowly stepped away, revealing a mother and her kits laying completely still on the ground. The murderer's eyes glinted with satisfaction as they stared down at the dead bodies. They seemed to be murmuring something inaudible, the volume of their voice raising a little with each word. "Don't let this happen to me..." she meowed with an edge to her voice, the whites in her eyes slowly filling up with a pure black color. Her head cocked to the side slowly, her bloody teeth exposed as she smiled. She stared hauntingly into the distance, her expression more terrifying than anything you could ever imagine. However, she looked a little bit familiar...too familiar... Suddenly, everything disappeared, the nightmare-ish cat, the dreamy Starclan warrior, the battle, everything. Blossomstar suddenly woke up her den, her eyes wide with shock and confusion. She was sheathing and unsheathing her claws anxiously into her bedding, still trying to comprehend what her vision had just told her. 'The ending of that dream though...' she thought, picturing the horrifying cat at the end. 'What was that cat trying to tell me? Am I supposed to help out a certain cat? Which one!?' "Blossomstar, what's wrong," Birchfeather called urgently, staring straight into her eyes with worry. "You seem troubled." "Oh, e-everything's all fine," she quickly mewed, not making eye contact. "Nothing's wrong...I just need rest." "Oh, ok..." her deputy said with a hint of disbelief, her eyes cloudy with confusion and curiosity. "I guess I'll be on my way then." Blossomstar sighed with relief, knowing that her deputy would be just as confused as she was if she even attempted to explain her vision. She shook her head, knowing that she had to find out who this mystery cat was, and what she was supposed to do to protect her. Since her mind was still cloudy with shock, she decided to curl up in her nest, close her eyes, and sleep again. Wow, this didn't take as long as I expected, XD! Well, the chapters will probably take much longer, but I almost forgot a Prologue! That's why I made this quickly, for the prologue in my opinion is one of the easiest parts. I might take a bit for the chapters, for I want to have a plan for this story so it doesn't go haywire on me. Tysm for wanting to help support me, and plz love it if you enjoyed!
