-- Three down, seven to go! -- I haven't really posted anything that wasn't contest or species related lately, so I decided to share this! I've got some old human characters that were in desperate need of redesigning, and I was in the mood to make some human characters, so here we are. ----- Design One: Carmine - I really, really dislike the original design for her. All the colors are weird and clashing (as is a theme with the originals,) and the costume doesn't fit her personality at all - I decided to go with a medieval pirate theme for the redesign, which suits her much better. I also darkened the colors and made them a bit more magenta instead of scarlet. ----- Design Two: Sonani - The original design is one of the better ones, but I still don't like it too much. It's not very functional, especially since she's meant to be a melee fighter. - I switched out the flowy skirt for a shorter one and changed her sandals to boots. I also tried to incorporate bronze into more of the design. ----- Design Three: Jules - I dislike the original design very much. (I think it's mostly the hair and palette, everything else is excusable, I guess, but she still drastically needed a redesign. - I muted the bright colors and decided to give her a subtle rabbit theme. I'm not too happy with this redesign, but it's still a definite improvement. -----
