turbo mode suggested -- the cebraven here- the one with the single horn- is tesla, one of the members of my coven. they are a sea cebraven, unlike the others you have seen so far! tesla is strict and disciplined of their own accord, yet they have an contrarian nature which often pushes them out of their own regimen solely to oppose. though their conveying power is limited, due to their single horn, tesla more than makes up for it with their physical strength. not many sea cebravens actually have what it takes to reside in the ocean they are designated after. tesla is encountering one of the many seabeasts that live on lestrai. this one is a heidrui (pronounced hy-droo-ee with an emphasis on the first syllable) caring for its unhatched young. heidrui are one of the few species which remain with their young. as neither heidrui nor cebravens prey on one another, we can coexist peacefully. heidrui are fascinating in that they have made peace with the cyclic war of small creatures that constantly resounds beside them. many small plantlike organisms grow in the sea's safe caverns, where many species go to nest. the plantlike organisms (you must not confuse them with earth plants) sustain themselves off of the runoff emotion and joy these species experience when their young are born. sunlight is not a reliable source of energy here. there are many species of these plantlike organisms, though as a sky cebraven i could not tell you the difference. i am not well-versed in the details of the sea. perhaps tesla would know. as is expected in lestrai, however, wherever there are emotions and memories, there are creatures who wish to feed. the gnatlike fishbeasts depicted suck all of the emotion and memory out of the plantlike organism and begin radiating that emotion themselves to any creature capable of conveyance. these parasites, however, often fall prey to the leafed jaws which take root near these emotion-rich caverns. and in turn, the hydrui feast on the abundant leafed jaws. it is a perfect cycle. -- the visuals and music are of our creation. both were created exclusively using srcatch. through the music, we wished to represent the tumultous and constant movement of the ocean's currents along with the small, gentler details one can find drifting along. it's easy to get lost in the current; therefore, it is easy to loose the rhythm of the melody without the occasional sparkle of sunlight to guide you.
