Ruth Bader Ginsburg died on September 18th, 2020 of metastatic pancreatic cancer at age 87. She was a powerhouse activist and lawmaker, who was the second female justice to be elected to the United States Supreme Court. Her last statement to the public was "My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed." She will always be remembered.
"My mother told me to be a lady. And for her, that meant be your own person, be independent."
