This game won most artistic in that contest I told you all about. After clicking the green flag and start button, you use the arrow keys to maneuver around, dodging things like pipes, palm trees, boxes, and cannon balls all to survive and get the high score! Once you die, you can use the up and down arrow keys to select a level using the convenient "Select A Level" box next to the play button! *Stages/9 in all* Grassy Greens (Day+Night versions) Crazy Castle Centre Miiverse 1-1 (You Guess.) Blackout Bay (Journey around another dimension) ???????? (Play for yourself!) Sapphire Sea (Take a journey across the Sea!) Hollow Village (Spoiler: These guys like boxes)
*The following is a design brief for the contest I'm signing this project up for * http://brilliantlabs.ca/en_US/scratch/ (Purpose Of Game) You use the arrow keys to maneuver around as a slime with a jet pack, dodging things like pipes, palm trees, boxes, and cannon balls all to survive and get the high score. (Development History) The SERIES started in summer, 2014 when I got the idea of a lego styled flappy bird that would involve a mini-figure flying around using a jet-pack. I decided to make this real using a slime based off of @VenomousSquirrel 's blob-like objects and a character I had made before (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/21146566/). I had made the first version in under a day, and updated it a bit over the summer. Then, around February 2015, I decided to make a sequel and started right away.I kind of stopped after a while, but when my mother heard of the contest, I finished up this project right away and, well, entered it!. (unique features *compared to other flappybird styled scratch projects) JetPack Flight 2 is different than other flappybird-like games because it has more locations than just a grassy field around a city, like oceans, abandoned factories, and even another dimension! It also has obstacles aside from pipe shaped things, like cannon balls that are fired at you. JetPack Flight 2 also has different controls and "weight" than the other games! (Research) Looking up images and sounds on Google for inspiration and inclusion in my project.I also looked back at my older game, JetPack Flight 1.9. (Real Notes And Credits) Me for, well, 99% of the coding (see below) most costumes, and for being the creator of this game. My mother as well, for submitting this project to the contest. Nintendo for half the music, sound effects, and the backgrounds, and "costumes" for the hazards in stages Miiverse and 1-1. , , and many other scratchers for the other half of the music. for the ONE peice of coding that was not mine, the script that makes the "Get Ready!" jump. Flappy bird for the modified "Get Ready!/Go!" signs and for being the inspiration that made me start this series. Thank you for the stuff I used to make this project better!
