Heyo there! for those who don't know- JOAL stands for Journey of a Lifetime, a collaborative story hosted by the outstanding @PeriwinklePenguin11 !! <3 Recently it's been decided that JOAL will be given a reboot and restarted, and I was invited to help out ;w;; So without further ado, this is magnolia, my my character for JOAL-- scroll down for her bio and another small note about her design! <3 Also- an announcement regarding JOAL will be released soon by @PeriwinklePenguin11, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled! :'0 Short bio for this chic<3_________________________ Name: Magnolia (Last name pending!! lmk if ya need one!) Gender: Female Age: Almost 20 Class: Barbarian* Physical appearance: Magnolia has a whole lot of long, glossy, thick black hair with a slight wave that reaches past her waist. She occasionally puts it back in a high, messy ponytail but most of the time she doesn't really bother with it. Her build is quite slim yet well muscled without being bulky. She has long legs and a small waist. Her skin is relatively tanned (not illustrated very well here x''D) and she has a small nose, double-eyelids, thin lips, and dark eyes with with a small tinge of green to them. She's also quite tall, and while she slumps a lot, which can occasionally make her seem shorter, she can straighten up her posture anytime for added effect. Personality: Magnolia can be very moody and defiant, but she's also very protective of those she cares about. she can sulk quite a lot when she gets into a quarrel, and may come off as unfriendly or rough, but she's just a bit of a tough nut. She can be impatient (especially with decision making) but she'll always make sure everyone gets heard out. she's a secret plant momma and has a love for green growing things. she's also quite secretive, and could occasionally be described as cranky, but is affectionate (though indirectly) with her close friends and those she cares about. She's pretty independent and will make her own life choices without input from anyone. She also intensely dislikes other people messing with her belongings. (You've been warned >:0) She could also be occasionally described as grumpy/snappish, and acts as if she doesn't care about your opinion even when she does. She's always switching back and forth from being efficient and focused, to being unbothered about anything and annoyingly stubborn. Because of her height and the overall stormcloud-aura that seems to be her general mood, she's pretty dang intimidating. She's also very unpredictable and hard to read, which just contributes to that point even more. *Aaahhh-- I designed her outfit without the fact that she was a barbarian in mind, so that might eventually have to change. Her design palette is also pretty boring and muted, which was sorta the direction I was going for, but I think I might wanna make it just a tad more colorful for her next outfit. <3 But I am overall happy with how this turned out- the aNAtOMy just gave me a pretty dang hard time. ;w; Let me know what you think or if I need to change anything! <3 aLSO-- ngl her boots were very satisfying to design and draw ;w; probably my favorite part.
