She was born to traitors who ran from the leaders of the Fire. Sylph moved over ten times within the first two years of their life. And, under a terrible illness, both of her parents were swept away by death when Sylph was only three. Sylph was brought to live with her aunt while her father was still able to walk, and she was taken care of there. They lived under the strict rules of their aunt from then on. Sylph was taught as any other child their age. [Childhood] The news of who Sylph's parents where traveled through whispers of their peers, and Sylph was deemed a ''low-life'' because of what their parents had done. Despite this, Sylph prospered while learning from the Magis that visited their village and school. They were good at magi, far better than most of the other students. [Young Adulthood] Sylph began to work for some of the townspeople in need of Magis. They met Tanika while working in a shop and they both clicked. Tanika and Sylph, whenever near each other, spent their time closest as they could be to one another. [Adult] Sylph finishes working for the townspeople and move near to Tanika's home of the Sea. She had never been that fond of water, but it didn't matter. Sylph and Tanika still meet up and spend hours talking to each other. - - - [Early Years] Tanika, unlike her girlfriend, was given the best odds possible. She was born into a (rather rich) family. Tanika had four siblings and two loving dads, what else could she ask for? Tanika spent most of her time reading, despite her brother's taunts, and would be a bookworm for the rest of her life. [Childhood] Tanika was enrolled in a boarding school and met multiple friends there. She, once more, had great odds in life. Tanika continued to spend time reading, writing, drawing, and other activities some taunted her for. But it never mattered to Tanika, who enjoyed the jests. She joined debate teams as well, and was soon known to keep her head in her book unless someone upset her, then all of her fire was let loose. [Young Adulthood] While shopping for her sibling's coming out anniversary, Tanika met Sylph- a skilled Magi who Tanika deemed interesting. She then invited Sylph on a walk, and they continued to walk every week from then on. Tanika began to add more red to her clothing choices. Instead of her black earrings, she wore red heart ones. In place of her black gown she wore a red one. And even her blue necklace was replaced by red. [Adult] Tanika was pleasantly surprised when Sylph decided to move closer to her, but she wasn't against it. She was more afraid of her family embarrassing them while on their usual walks. And of course they did, but Sylph wasn't bothered by them. - - -
