Hoi! Sorry for the inactivity! (I was trying to finish Black Calamity before Nov 4) I've drawn this picture to set the mood of the piece of the story I've put and to test out Firealpaca (why does it look similar to Medibang??) Anyways I've meant to share an excerpt from Black Calamity, so here it is: ----------------------------- Chase smiles, closing his eyes and snapped his fingers, we appear in a dark place, masked with a dark foggy mist. "Welp, welcome to The Gate," Chase said. "Here, I'll show you all of the 14 Dark Connoisseurs." The place felt so stuffed, it got difficult to breathe. I collapse onto my knees, resting Violet on the ground in front of me. I noticed there was just only Violet and me in this section of The Gate. I took a look at myself. "Chase?" I ask. "Yes??" He said. "Why am I as my Katzuken form?" I ask. "Well, you as Gaikru will be too weak for this world. Katzuken, on the other hand, allows his demon inner sides to conquer him," he said. "What about Violet? She's only unconscious," I said. "... She could die in this world." "It's your decision on what you should do," Chase said. "I believe you already know..." He disappears. "Genevieve..." I call my spirit demon. She appears as her standard fursona form. She had a big white sunhat with a veil connected to it, covering her bright pink eyes when we heard someone coming. She had a white dress and white fur. One ear sticks out of her hat from the side, for her hat was slanted. She had a white cloak and white boots with little fluffy cotton balls hanging on at their tops. "I need you to take control over Violet's body," I said. She nods, disappearing. Violet's eye began to open. "Ooh! I feel so lovely," Genevieve said. Suddenly, a tiny kemono kitten appears in front of me. She had black fur with white streaks, pink eyes with a white dress with a blue stripe on her waist and skirt. She also had blue armbands near her shoulder, brown gloves, and brown boots. The environment atmosphere then changed. Instead of being in a dark room, we were in the middle of a forest by an old house. "D-daddy!?" She cried, climbing onto my lap and abruptly hugging me. "Daddy? I don't remember having such a child..." I thought. "Chase? What is this?" "Ah, I see you've now met your future daughter, Amelia Rose," he said. "How can she be one of the 14 dark connoisseurs if she isn't born yet?" I ask. "Well, let's just say the future counts the 14," he said. "Born or not, dead or alive. Ah, the future is full of surprises." "So... Um, who do I have a child with exactly?" I ask. "Hmm, I want you to guess," he said. I stroke Amelia's hair, running my fingers through it. Her hair was well done and free from knots. It seemed to have been soothing to her, for she fell asleep in my embrace. "So, Amelia seems to have recognized me as her father in my Katzuken form... I can also conclude that she's had a caring mother, I said. "Alex knows me well as Katzuken... Amelia could possibly be the breed bred from Alex and me..." I said. "But, Nightingale also knows me best as Katzuken, and we've grown quite a relationship when we were younger... She also has experience of being a mother." I look at Violet, aka Genevieve, who sat beside me, grasping onto my arm. I noticed that instead of Violet's pinkish-purple eyes, Genevieve's were presented. "Amelia has her pink eyes..." I said. I look at Amelia again. "But then again, Nightingale also has pink eyes..." "Sooo...?" Chase asks. "I guess only future knows..." I said. "Besides, Amelia's mother, my future wife, might be someone I will only meet in the future." "You're right, only I know because I'm the future," Chase grins. "I'll forget you said that," I said as I watched Amelia disappear. The background slowly changed back to the dark mist. "So, who's next?" I ask. "I'm pretty sure you know Eclipse," he said. "He's my father's best friend," I said. "Hm, I thought you didn't remember your parents," he said. "I don't," I said. "I only know Eclipse because he took care of the first half of my life." "For Axhendrix, he doesn't seem to visit the spirit world often. All I can tell you is that he's your future Alphatic rival," Chase said. "So, I become the Alpha in the future?" I ask. "Bingo," he said. "But, if you worked harder, you would've been Alpha EARLIER." "Hey, don't say I didn't try," I said. "Well, anyway, you'll meet Azure next. I'm not going to explain who he is; I want you to see him for yourself. All I am going to tell you is that he's my brother, my heavily dark opposite." He disappears. Once again, the environment changes; I was now in what seems to be a castle. I found myself sitting over the bleeding body of Emo Cuddletail. ------------ Oof! Sorry that I made it long!
