Backstory below! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- BACKSTORY: ***************************************************************** Sparkstar is the current NimbleClan leader. He was born to Featherjump and Larkleap along with his sisters Copperspark and Snowpaw. Snowpaw drowed in the bay when they were apprentices. Sparkstar wasn't very close with his late sister but he mourned her along with his parents and Copperspark. He was given the warrior name Sparkshine and received his first apprentice Pricklepaw not long after. They two grew close and were almost like siblings when Pricklepaw received her warrior name Prickleleap. He began training his second apprentice Racconpaw not long before his father died in a battle with GullClan. The leader at the time; Shakestar appointed Sparkshine as his deputy hoping that his best friend's son would inherit his father's level head and loyalty. Shakestar was not dissapointed. Sparkshine managed to juggle his duties and his apprentice with grace. Soon Sparkshine's mother - Featherjump - gave birth to to his little sister and brother Rosekit and Rushkit. During the time of his deputy-ship he became close friends with the warrior Fawnspots, she became his second in command when Shakestar died and Sparkshine became leader. Fawnspots and Sparkpelt turned out to work well together and eventually became mates. Almost a year later Fawnspots gave birth to their kits Featherkit, Brokenkit and Larkkit. Larkkit died 2 moons later when GullClan attacked their camp. The attack devastated the clan killing all of the current apprentices, two kits, a warrior and Sparkstar's mother who was an elder at the point of her death. Sparkstar let Fawnspots take over the clan for a moon so he would get a chance to raise his remaining to kits and Fawnspots could recover from the grief of her daughter's death. His kits Featherkit and Brokenkit became apprentices to Rosekit who was now Roseberry the medicine cat and Prickleleap's brother Pigeonglow. He is the second oldest leader in the bay; being 107 moons old at the beginning of the series. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Whoa that's a lot of backstory.
