Answer questions prompted. If it is neither before or after a hurricane, please answer the one that represents the weather most or select "R." It is more accurate to select BH/AH, but rough will work. Average is 50, range is 0-100. In my opinion, BH/AH counts for three days before/after the hurricane. To give an idea of what is good, the best shelling I've ever had calculated as a 90--complete whelks and scallops, one complete sharkeye.
-Notes- Based of my shelling experiences and some math. Tell me in the comments if you think the calculator is inaccurate. The numbers used for calculation are what I found, after tweaking and some math, is in my opinion, accurate. They are not based off any information regarding shelling quality--everything is relative to either my own ideas on good shelling or being relative to the average. Maximum shelling quality means large, complete shells: if this is not what you think maximum shelling quality is, I'm sorry, but I'm staying with this as ideal quality. This calculator does not apply for finding shark's teeth or marine debris. If you find a lot of these on a high or low day, feel free to inform us in the comments, but this calculator does not guarantee anything regarding that. This calculator does not guarantee awesome shelling, either. It may glitch or there may be a situation where the calculations are inaccurate. This calculator is meant as an insight to whether or not you should go shelling, but it does not mean that a low-quality day will have great finds or a high-quality day will. It just means that it's likely or unlikely based of my experience. If there is a situation where you do not think the calculated quality matches the actual shelling quality, please inform me. -Credits- Sprite and backdrop - Scratch Engine - Scratch Code - @bbb67 (me)
