~The Future is Now!~ ~Chapter Four~ ~Not An Impression~ Serena grinned as Pancham’s spork for his ‘soup’ fell onto the floor. The Pokémon had demanded that as the Pokémon of someone as ‘famous’ (and as delusional as he was) as Serena, that he deserved only the best that the Rustboro Hotel had to offer. The best they had to offer was a plastic spork for his Pokémon food. She was tempted to offer the poor thing some of her food, but she felt that would only further injure his already wounded pride. Suddenly, she noticed two more girls enter the hotel’s dining room. She recognized one of them as May Maple, the girl from the Contest video. Part of her wanted to run up to them and introduce herself. With Ash, she would’ve done that. But, she wasn’t with Ash. And it always seemed like it was ONLY with him that somehow, they would all end up as the best of friends. At least, until they parted ways, never to see the others again. But if this girl was also competing in the Contests, that meant Serena was SURE to see her again. She turned her attention back to her food and finished the meal, and then took her Pokémon and exited the dining hall, walking right past May.
Basic idea of this fanfic: What Serena was doing in Hoenn. Sorry this took a while! I was just unmotivated for a while. Yeee the new eyes are staring into your soul. Oh, and this doesn’t exactly follow canon (the anime) I’ve added some of my own stuff here and there, but it’s still the same thing. So, please, don’t cry in the comments about how I changed something. I’m trying my best here.
