Press space to go to the next slide. Overview (Please Read): This project is a tribute to the William Hartnell era of Doctor Who, a long-running British science-fiction show. The Hartnell era is the first 3 1/6 seasons of the show from 1963-1966. I have not seen all the episodes with Hartnell as the Doctor, but I have seen most of them. The older era of the show is made up of story arcs separated into several episodes, which range from the practically non-existent single episode to a 12-part epic. Most stories are 4-6 episodes long. The first 6 seasons of the show were filmed in black and white. The Doctor and his friends travel in the TARDIS (Time And Relative Dimensions In Space), a living time machine that takes them places, explaining the plot hole that they always encounter evil (the TARDIS takes them where evil must be stopped). Doctor Who Explanation: I don't want to give a full explanation of Doctor Who for those who don't know it, so here is the basic rundown: The Doctor is an alien who travels through time and space in a machine called a TARDIS (Time and Relative Dimensions In Space) with many different people. Due to a technical problem, the TARDIS is stuck looking like a 1960s police box. The Doctor faces evil wherever he goes, but instead of fighting villains, he comes up with creative solutions to defeat them. When he/she gets severely injured, he/she reincarnates into someone who looks different with a different personality, but is technically the same person. Doctor Who Statistics: Doctor Who premiered in 1963, got cancelled in 1989, and came back in 2005. It currently has 38 seasons and over 850 episodes. The season count started back at 1 in 2005, but the show was a continuation, not a reboot. The old show has episodes typically 20-25 minutes and the new show has episodes 40-50 minutes (specials are longer).
Doctor Who is a TV show by the British Broadcasting Corporation, or BBC. Writing and Code by me. Please read the overview in the instructions for some information that will help you understand the slideshow. The overview is only the first part. TARDIS Fandom for some help.
