Women's rights are important. In some developing South African countries, women only got the right to vote in 2015. Men in the 1800s just saw women as housekeepers and baby makers. If a girl was born into a rich family, they would be disappointed with her, even though she had done absolutely nothing wrong! Studies show that if it had been the other way round, with women considered the 'stronger' gender, and ruling the world, it would be a fairer place, because women are the more compassionate and fair leaders. Even now, less than 10% of the Nobel prize winners are women. This needs to stop. Now.
