The more you click the green flag, the less lag you'll have! The sixth beta edition of my major Zelda game! This beta version adds a couple new areas to explore, as well as a few items, of course. Also, please play in fullscreen. It's prettier if you do. You can press space to skip the intro, but why would you do that? Don't worry about reading the instructions. Link pretty much tells himself how to play, just remember that he aims at where your mouse pointer points. But if you want to know the changes between this version and the last, then continue reading. MAJOR features and changes: 1. Lake Hylia! Check it with "m"! You'll need to sail on it instead of just walking around. Sailing is a little confusing, so Link tells you all about it once you get there. Try not to sail during a storm, either. If you die a lot here, just remember that this is designed to be a late-game area. 2. The Korok Leaf! You'll need to make use of it to navigate Lake Hylia, but you can also just blow enemies around. 3. A raft! When you step in water, it'll automatically place itself down. If you don't stand on it while in the water, you'll sink! 4. Bluchus! They live in Lake Hylia, and unlike other Chuchus, they can't drown! They also have higher health. They're super fast in water, but slow down once they're on your raft or on land. 5. Magic! It decreases as you use magical items, so watch your magic meter! 6. Sword progression! You start with a wimpy Practice Sword, but you can buy the Knight's Sword from some merchants! The Master Sword is currently impossible to obtain. 7. Villages! They act as save havens where you can find tons of people to offer you advice, and merchants just feel like staying there. Your game starts in one, and it also happens to be the only village...so far. 8. Guards! They patrol the villages, and actively hunt enemies that get too close. 9. Villagers! They walk around and enjoy existing, but they don't enjoy the rain. 10. The Triforce...kind of! Defeating an enemy has a chance of giving you a piece, and tougher enemies are more likely to give you pieces! Get 8 pieces, and you can choose to boost 1 of 3 different stats. Minor features and changes: 1. Items from chopped down trees now get blown around by sandstorms. 2. The game now warns players who play on Turbo Mode. 3. Some sounds now pan and change volume depending on the distance of the sound from Link. 4. Merchants avoid the new Lake Hylia, and can't stand being in Lake Hylia or Death Mountain Summit anymore. 5. The player's footstep sounds now change depending on the area they are in. 6. Different death messages if you do die in a unique way. 7. Rupee rewards from Chuchus are now better based on both size and color, instead of just size. 8. Tiny Bluchus can be bottled to make a new weapon, which has devastating power but won't give you monster drops. Think Ancient Arrows from BotW. 9. Green Chuchus now deal 1 more damage when launched from a bottle. 10. Merchants are now more common, and have a different skin depending on the shield they sell. They may also sell you a sword! Suggested by 11. An intro! 12. Save codes now also save the "profile picture" for when you select an achievement. Still a little pointless right now... 13. The "Thunderstruck" achievement can now be achieved in any area during a thunderstorm. 14. Merchants now travel towards nearby villages and stay there for a while. 15. One new achievement to collect (Infinite Power), though it's very tough if you aren't playing Casual Mode. 16. Statues can appear around the village, and clicking one will allow you to change which stats you invested in with your Triforce.
THERE'S A NEW BETA VERSION OUT!!! It's more updated than this one, so check out https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/26988860/ to play it! This version also supports save codes from Beta 04 and Beta 05! If you want anything added to the game, just POST it in the comments! I'm not a busy man, so I will be able to read it and consider. Remember to check out https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/26988860/ for new betas and announcements! See a bug? Comment what happened! Fixed bugs: Bug 19: Trees that fell to the left when chopped down didn't complete their breaking animation properly. Bug 20: Items from chopped down trees didn't light up when touching the mouse. Bug 21: The "Adrenaline" achievement would get stuck on the screen if you defeated a monster while the animation was playing. Bug 22: Becoming unalive didn't reset your potion effects. Present bugs: Bug 12: Traveling to Death Mountain Summit while fire is about to where off makes the fire disappear on Link, even though he's still on fire. Bug 23: The Triforce counter turns orange when you get 9,999 Rupees. Tags: #Zelda #Adventure #Beta #Link #Legend #of #Game #Click #to #the #Past #Games #Beta #06 #6
