Normally, I wouldn't really like a Robot Master that is literally what the name implies, but I guess this is fine. (Makes me remember Air Man from Rockman CX, a Robot Master that is literally air...) Also, I made resprites! It's just Mercury but black except for the eyes and some shade I added, but it works. Because his name is "Darkness Man," I decided to give him the Dark Energy from Mega Man 8, so he can teleport and do some wacky transformation stuff. (All the information, AI explanation, and details about the special weapon are below.) - A.I. Explanation - He first teleports to your location. He doesn't deal contact damage when he is flickering. Then, he either: -Turn off the lights, go to the side, shoot 3 lasers directed toward the player, land on the ground, and turn on the lights. or -Teleport to the left or right, shoot 4 Plasma Boomerangs. (each time one is shot, the angle for the next shot goes slightly higher) After each Boomerang returns, it circles Darkness Man. (This is not a shield weapon, the Boomerangs don't reflect shots.) After the 4 Plasma Boomerangs start circling Darkness Man, he absorbs them and shoots a charged shot. (There is also a chance that he turns off the lights when he does this attack.) After that, he has a chance to transform into Mega Man. (@TerrariaJo said that he can switch bodies with the player, but I didn't really know how to do that while making it fair.) He first shoots 3 shots that slowly angle higher, then slide. After doing that 2 times, he rapidly shoots 3 times on the ground and 3 times in the air. Repeat. Strategy: 1. When he teleports to you, use his flickering as a telegraph to get outta there. 2. If he uses the laser attack: Stay as far away as possible. Jump to avoid the first laser, the second laser should miss once you land, and jump over the third laser. Note that when the lights are off, he has no hitbox, meaning you can't hit him, but he can't hit you with contact damage either. If he uses the Plasma Boomerang attack: Use his eyes changing color as a telegraph to stay as far away from him. If you're far enough, none of the Boomerangs will hit. Simply jump over the charged shot. 3. If he transforms into Mega Man, do a slight jump over the first shot, and the other two shouldn't hit. If he's near enough, jump over him when he slides. After doing that two times, jump over his first batch of rapid shots, then slide under his second batch of rapid shots. - Special Weapon - (Just an idea by me.) Name: Dark Cloak Ability: It hides you, and enemies can't target you. While the effect is undergoing, you can charge up a purple fireball that looks like the Plasma Boomerangs used in the fight. This is pretty good since the one weak to this can't target you, but you can deal massive damage with the purple fireball. Energy Consumption: Can be used 3 times (9 energy usage.) (An alternate idea is shooting a laser like the one in the fight that can target enemies and charge towards them, quite similar to Terra's weapon from Mega Man V.) - Credits - CAPCOM for Mega Man. for Mega Man Godfall.
