Inktober Day 1: Fish Guys, gals, nonbinary pals, welcome to the first day of Inktober. Enjoy. Space bar to switch slides. Concept: So, as some of you know, Minecon 2020 is this weekend, and I am pushing for the glow squid to win the mob vote. So, I figured, what better way to advertise it than by drawing him and sticking him on my scratch account. It's not very original, I know, but its what came to mind. The squid's feature in Minecraft's video seemed to be hypnotism via sparkles? I dunno, it was weird, but I drew it anyway. Stage 1: Very rough sketch, got the general shape of the squid out and tried to determine where I wanted to place the other big aspects. Stage 2: (sorry for the shadow. ugh.) Got pretty much everything sketched out, drawing some clownfish and a shark. Stage 3: Inking! I used my my micron 0.8 mm fineliner to get some of the thicker outlines in. Stage 4: Inked in some of the smaller details using 0.05 and 0.1 mm fineliners. Stage 5: Some touch ups and last-minute details, some comic book esque shading, and it is done. Final Thoughts: In this drawing I tried to keep the flowiness of it in this kinda circular motion with the bubbles, and I kinda like it? I regret not adding in a background, but it was getting late, so I called it a day. what? no its not a jellyfish-
