This sound test was programmed by the Nintendo team who created the game, composed the music, etc. in 1995. It also helps provide having trouble hearing the audio on a CRT TV while playing Super Mario 64. But unfortunately, due to a technical issue, Nintendo decided to take it down, but leftover the beta numbers assets. And the alphabet. Good thing someone archived the whole test. And here is what it looks like right now.
