The season began with Tropical Storm Ana, a storm that dealt minor damage to the east coast, the season's strongest storm Danny, was a powerful Cape Verde category 4 that dealt powerful damage to Puerto Rico and nearby areas. The season concluded with Tropical Storm Grace which moved in a very unusual way, noted a couple of times by the N.H.C.
