After a crushing defeat at Launch Lake, the Rasgunos could do nothing but stand and watch as Accimant launched itself into space atop the Xinethan Hyperspace Rocket. At this point, it seems like it is truly the end, and that this journey was all for not. Especially dejected is Kubbel, who has lost not only his ship, not only his crew, but now his rocket. After some brief rendezvous with a group of monsters who found their way out of the Ancient Archways, Grirah is struck with rage as he realises Kubbel is within their midst. Atomikk has to explain to him that they had called a truce to defeat their common enemy, to which Grirah begrudgingly accepts. However, when the monsters remember they have Fos on their side, hope comes back to them. Some time later, Luminod and Kubbel assemble an elite team of monsters to follow Accimant into the stars and halt its universe-ending plan. The seven single elementals are especially needed for this mission, almost all of whom are enthused to join. When Fos gives them the heads up, they fly out into depths of space and venture into the heart of the universe - a dark, endless void. The monsters are immediately greeted by Accimant, who they waste no time in springing an attack on. They attempt to put up a fight, but are ultimately outmatched. An injured Luminod is on the brink of giving up until he notices the seven elements manifest themselves in physical form. He now realises what he must do - he harnesses their power and ascends into an omni-elemental state. However, Accimant does likewise, and ascends into its final form. The monsters congregate to assist Luminod, and they are joined by some familiar faces too. After a standoff, it becomes clear that there is only one thing that they must do. Destroy Accimant.
