I have to say this now because I won't be able to say it later. I wish you luck Nova. You're an amazing kind person and I wish I could say this in person. I have point class later so I'll be in the middle of class when you leave for your surgery. I love you and will do anything and everything I can to help you recover. I'll always be right here when you need me. ❤️❤️❤️ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is what point shoes look like for those of you who might be wondering. If you think being a ballerina is easy; think again because these things hurt while your getting used to them and still hurt even when you've gotten used to them! Ballet like any sport also has some downsides. Last year only a few rehearsals before our studio performance a senior dancer sprained her ankle. At the beginning of rehearsals at least 2 senior dancers had injuries and I know that one was related to dance. While flat shoe classes are safer they also have risks. A couple of weeks ago I fell while doing a periuette (multiple times) and hurt my wrist. I had just banged it up a little not too serious but it hurt for the next couple of days.
Thanks to @wiind for the line-art
