The BLM movement has opened the eyes of many people who were once blind to the systemic racism that was engrained in society. Whether the Racially targeted police brutality, or the racially targeted 911 calls, prejudices and biases have inflicted and oppressed African-Americans for centuries. From Slavery, to lynchings every single week, to segregation, to now still fighting for freedom from the racism that is entangled in African American's lives every. single. day. We decided to honor the lives lost by hosting an art collab.
