Recently I had a stop Racism project taken down for pretty twisted reasons. It was taken down because it supported no Racism at all rather than just Black Lives Matter. The message I received after they took it down is below. Scratch before they sent me this; didn't do their research. They said the following, "Many people have used "all lives matter" as a way of saying that all people face similar challenges regardless of their race. This is not true." end quote. True not all races face racism but black people aren't the only people who face racism. Back during the war with Japan; Japanese-Americans were discriminated. I'm not scratching the surface here. While Black racism is the one that needs fought against the most that doesn't mean no other racism needs to be stopped. Remix if you agree. Scratch has it's priorities out of order and I want to see it fixed. So come at me Scratch take down this project if you want but think about what I said here today. Sincerely, - @BeBreezepelt101

The phrase "Black Lives Matter" was created because of the experiences, fears, and problems that Black people face. Many people have used "all lives matter" as a way of saying that all people face similar challenges regardless of their race. This is not true. The purpose of the Black Lives Matter movement isn't to exclude others, but to highlight the violence and racism that Black people face every day in hopes of changing it. So we ask that you not say "all lives matter" when you see someone else saying "Black Lives Matter" on Scratch. Please see this announcement for more information about this.
