Just type in the letter that corresponds to the phoneme you want (look at the symbol chart below). I did not use the international phonetic alphabet. (Tho I should) Voiced phonemes are represented with upper case letters and lower case letters for Unvoiced phonemes. To specify the amount of time of a phoneme to be held "scratch seconds", and the pitch of the phoneme you type in parentheses the time number comma then the pitch number. Example: Q(0.1,5) The Q is the key that will be held, the 0.1 is the length that it will be held in "scratch seconds", and the 5 is the pitch. Use underscores for pauses. Here is an example string: I(.1,0)P(.1,0)___L(.1,10)P(.1,10)___f(.1,-10)P(.1,-10) Another way is to just type the letter as one long string where the amount of letters in a row is the length of the phoneme Example: IIIIIPPPPP___LLLPPPPP___fffffPPPPP You can also type <10> for pitch. Example:<0>IIIIIPPPPP___<10>LLLPPPPP___<-10>fffffPPPPP You can also mix the formats together and it will work fine. Then Press The Play Button To Have The Voder Speak It Out Loud. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Symbol Chart~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Phoneme | Key Wᵉ Q ᵇOOᵗ W ʷOOᵈ E ᵇOWᴸ R ᵇUᵗ T ᵇOᵗ Y ᵇAᵗ U ᵇEᵗ I ᵇ i ᵗ O ᵇEEᵗ P R A L S THᵃᵗ D Z F ᵐᵉᵃSUʳᵉ G V H M J N K B i G Z D X This project might be confusing because the key that you press isn't related to the sound it makes. The chart should help you out on which key to press for the sound you want. One thing to note is that it's possible to play multiple sounds at the same time by pressing multiple keys but when recording, it will only record one sound at a time inside the sound variable. In other word its only monophonic when playing a string. Also it's called BOAAY's Voder because I use BOAAY as my username for most other sites and it sounds better then Derps Voder. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tell Me any Bugs You find :) Current Version Number: 1.12 June-10-2024
Got Inspired by The Voder 1939 From Bell Labs Though It Works Completely Different From This. All Assets (Sounds, Textures) And Code Was Of Course Created By Yours Truly. The_Laughing_Derp aka BOAAY aka Blake
