Playing With Fire Chapter 13 I can't stop I move faster making a fireball path. I got to admit my fire powers are so cool. But that's beside the point. I am running somewhere very quickly. Then I feel my stomach grumble. I am hungry. I never ate for like I don't know 3-4 days. I go down taking out my fire bow and arrows. Accept it's not really me. I try to take control of myself but whatever this is it's so strong. Then I see what my bow is pointing at. It's a girl with brown hair and brown eyes. She has a red shirt and black jeans. Wait a minute, that's Ari. Before I get a good look I hide behind the tree. Creeping closer to Ari. I try to stop myself. But I can't it's to strong. OMG no no no no I think. I can't hurt my friend. Please stop I tell myself. I creep closer drawing my bow back. Then Ari sees me. I draw a dagger, ready. "Woah Kayla, it's me, Ari," Ari says coming closer. I can't speak. All that comes out of me is a "Help". "Hey, Kayla are you ok" She comes closer. She needs to stop I am going to hurt her. I try to get out a message "Ari....Step back" I try to say. She does and askes "Kayla are you ok". Then I lash at her with my dagger she blocks it with a ray of light. "Kayla what are you doing" Ari yells. _____________________________________________ Playing With Fire Chapter 13 ((Zaks perspective)) Long walk home We start walking. We have to walk a long way until we reach the Nature Kingdom. Right now we are in the realm dedicated to school. My legs are really tired and I sit down. Audrey sits down next to me and so does Layla. Let's set up camp here. Audrey uses her powers to make a fire and I set up some tents. I wonder if Kayla is ok. I miss her and how she made everything positive. It was only a few days ago when we all met up after school to get boba. It has not been the same without the whole squad being together we never have been split up. Now it feels like they don't even exist it was a fairy tale. "Camp is ready," Audrey says sitting on a log by the fire. "Great," I say trying to force a smile. Things just are not the same. TO BE CONTINUED IN CHAPTER 14.................................
