Here it is! The long-awaited sequel to Platform, the Platformer. With some 43 levels, enough dialogue that it takes up two sprites, 30 total sprites, and a total of 7 bosses (3 in the main plot, 4 secret ones). Note that while this is a sequel, you don’t need to beat (or play) the original game to play this one. (If you want can get a recap of the first game here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/451858916/ If you want to play the first game, here it is: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/345473096/) So, how do you play? WASD to move. (If you want arrow keys, press P.) X to interact. Space to shoot a cannon Arrow keys (or WASD, if you switched to arrow keys) R to exit a simulation. Will erase a button if it was pressed. Touch the yellow to the right to exit a simulation without erasing the button press. Press buttons to interact with the world. Green buttons will open gates, and orange buttons will interact with other buttons, meaning that it may close a gate or require more than one orange button to open a gate. Git gud That’s about all for the controls. More technical instructions Most sections aren’t crazy hard, and focus on puzzles. So if you take a step back and reread the instructions, as odds are you’ll realize what’s holding you back. To return later, you have to get a save code from a boss. They’ll show up before the fight. Store it somewhere to return later. Hypothetically, that’ll save everything you had. As mentioned above, there are 4 secret bosses. Most of them are pretty easy to find if you look closely (or remember how to get to the secret boss in the first game) If you read this, comment “Dave reminds me of Dave” Defeating a secret boss leads to new dialogue and new endings. There are 8 total endings. There are three sections to the game. Each ends with a boss, and has a secret boss hidden somewhere within it. That’s the main advice I have. It shouldn’t be too difficult assuming you take it slow and think about difficult sections.
If you can’t move please don’t comment saying so. Just try WASD. Please. Not mobile friendly as that is essentially impossible with this one. Whew. Quite a bit of work went into this one. My main benefactor was the Scratch Wiki. I used quite a few scripts from there. @—Awesomepizza4me-- for helping me add special characters and numbers to the cloud list Thanks to the scratch team for making this possible! Thanks to everyone who really wanted this to come out and reminded me to keep working on it That’s about it ... No advertising Fun facts: Was released exactly one year since Platform, The Platformer released. Started around a month after its predecessor was released. The first milestone was when “Level editor” was completed in July, which is when I actually started working on this project I made around 8 other games while working on this. I made 4 while deep in work on this. This has enough dialogue that it took two sprites to hold it all. When it was in one, the game would lag out too bad when I went into that one. Most bosses had a “that’s a feature, not a bug” moment in it, where I realized my goals were too high and fully went in with what I had. I am considering making a third, but it would more be like a 1.5, or an alternate universe thing. It would be very weird and I don’t plan on making it anytime soon. Okay, go play the game please
