Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh! So I thought it would be a good idea to do small lectures to spread the word of Islam to our brothers and sisters here on Scratch, and so here is the first one! Today I will be speaking about Death and life after death. This topic will be divided into many different parts, so this is part one. Let's get started.
Bismillah: I want you to think about what you did today. Did you maybe decide to go somewhere, or did you stay at home? What are some choices you made today? Now I want you to think: Did I spend just the same amount of time reading Quran and thanking Allah (SWT) for everything I have? The more good you do, the more blessing you get from Allah (SWT) Remember that there are 2 lives, and the one you are in right now is a test. The next one will be forever. Most people run away from the topic of death. It can be scary, but what if you were to drop dead tonight? Think about that for a moment, dear brothers and sisters. Have you done all you wanted to do? Are you pleased with how you worshiped our lord? So go ahead and read this ayah in the project. If it's too small, I'll leave a link here: https://quran.com/3/185 Notice how Allah (SWT) uses the word taste. He doesn't just say everyone will experience death. He says we will 'taste' death. Taste. Think about that for a minute. Allah (SWT) just made this personal to you. YOU get to choose how you want your taste of the next life to be. Sweet, or bitter? It is by praying, reading Quran, taking that extra step so you will be granted Jannah. All of the things in this world are temporary. Our real spot is with our lord and creator, Allah (SWT). I will end with this question. If you were to learn that you will only have a few days to live, what would be grateful for, and will you have a bitter or a sweet taste for your next life? I hope you guys liked that small lecture, and remember that it is our duty as Muslims to spread the knowledge of Islam with our brothers and sisters. Jazakallahukhairan.
