If you've read the Bible, you would get this story. ( I'm Christian :) ) If you've not read the Bible, I'll give you the breakdown. Basically, there was a guy named Noah, who received a message from the Lord, saying that he should get all of the animals in the world on an ark ( a massive boat ), because a flood covering the whole earth was coming. He ended up spending 40 days and nights on the ark. He sent out a dove, telling it to come back with an olive branch. It took a while, but eventually, it came with one. Noah and his family landed, and the Lord stated that he would never again send such a destructive storm as a sign of love for his children ( humans ). This is only meant as a joke, not to offend any people.
